About The Position

As a Cashier at Meijer, you will provide efficient and effective customer service in the checkout lane, creating positive and lasting customer experiences. You will be the last point of contact customers have before leaving the store, helping make everyday interactions welcoming and memorable. The role involves learning Meijer programs and promotions, using store systems to complete transactions, handling cash and payments responsibly, answering questions, resolving concerns, and supporting other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Nights and weekends are required.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Enjoy working with people and providing great service.
Be comfortable learning and using technology.
Listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
Be dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to help.
Be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
Nights and weekends are required.
