About The Position

As a Lowe’s cashier, you help ensure every customer exits the store satisfied by providing a quick, friendly, and professional checkout experience and helping customers get value for their money. Most of your time is spent at the register, assisting with customer questions, payments, and exchanges. You may also help other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment and maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic, including addition and subtraction.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Ability to minimally lift 10 pounds unassisted or over 15 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in the state.
