About The Position

The Cashier provides a memorable guest experience through friendly connections and service. The role includes taking and processing orders, supporting drive-through, curbside, and catering order operations, and helping maintain a clean, stocked work area. Cashiers work cooperatively with other staff in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction and movement. The position requires the ability to perform its essential functions for shifts of up to eight hours.

Requirements

Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and remain calm under pressure.
Dependable and able to maintain a flexible schedule.
Constant ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or move up to 10 pounds.
Able to handle products, cash, transactions, and POS equipment.
Able to communicate effectively with other team members through speaking and listening.
Able to perform the essential functions for up to an eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls.
Work cooperatively with all other staff.
Take food orders.
Bag orders and ensure they are accurate and include all condiments and utensils.
Interact with guests in a positive, friendly manner.
Assist with packing catering orders.
Use the Point of Sale system.
Take orders at the drive-through window.
Handle curbside orders.
Assist with restocking items.
Clean and maintain the general work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Attend and successfully complete ongoing training or certification programs required by the company, federally, or by the state for the position.
