About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting their shopping needs. The company’s mission is to help people live healthy lives, and Team Members guide customers toward trusted healthy food and other products for wellbeing and the household. The Cashier manages customer transactions and helps create a welcoming, clean, and attractive front-end environment. The role works with team members and managers across departments to provide helpful answers and service. It is performed in a fast-paced, customer-service-focused environment and may involve exposure to extreme cold and physical tasks such as lifting and maneuvering heavy loads.
Requirements
- Customer service experience or previous cash handling experience is preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Must be able to stand and remain on one’s feet during the workday.

Responsibilities
- Manage customer flow by providing quick, efficient, and accurate transactions in a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with team members and managers across departments to ensure customers receive helpful answers and service.
- Maintain a clean and attractive front-end environment, including the cashier station and surrounding merchandising and service areas.
