About The Position

At Goodwill, store employees help turn donated items into new beginnings by funding community job training, education, and employment programs. The Cashier provides customer service at the register, supports sales-floor stocking and organization, maintains a clean and safe shopping environment, and assists with donation operations and related tasks. The position starts at $15 per hour and offers annual raises and production bonuses. Skill-building and training programs and team member discounts are offered. Medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement are available to full-time employees only.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient register service by ringing sales, handling payments, bagging merchandise, and thanking customers.
Stock and organize the sales floor by moving clothing from the backroom, merchandising it by type and color, and keeping racks tidy and rotated.
Maintain clean and safe dressing rooms and work areas.
Greet donors, accept donations, and issue receipts.
Support donation door operations and perform sorting and hanger tasks as needed.
Report safety, security, or theft concerns to store management.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.
