About The Position

As a Cashier at Angry Chickz, you are the first point of contact for customers and play a pivotal role in shaping their dining experience. You welcome customers, provide menu and promotional information, take and process orders, and help ensure swift, accurate transactions. You also support front-counter cleanliness and organization and collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide a positive customer experience.

The role requires clear spoken and written English comprehension, and the ability to follow directions in English. Spanish language ability is helpful but not required. Employees must wear the Angry Chickz uniform and safety-department-required non-slip shoes. Physical demands include occasionally lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and repetitive hand use.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and provide menu details or promotional information.
• Accurately take orders and communicate special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen team.
• Handle cash and card transactions, account for cash, and balance registers at the end of the shift.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter area.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to support seamless operations and a positive customer experience.
• Bag and wrap to-go orders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
