About The Position

Miles Crown Automotive is seeking a Cashier/Receptionist with excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. The role receives incoming dealership calls, determines callers’ needs, and directs them to the appropriate destination. It also involves basic accounting knowledge and routine accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. The Cashier/Receptionist calculates customer bills, accepts and records payments, issues receipts, answers and routes calls, and assists managers with clerical duties. The position requires professional, friendly, and efficient customer service, including handling complaints diplomatically and learning department structures and internal procedures.

Requirements

Ability to communicate customers’ interests, needs, and requests to management and sales personnel.
Professional personal appearance.
Clean driving record.
Availability to work flexible hours on weeknights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Calculate customer bills using the dealership’s computer system.
Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments and record amounts received on repair orders and/or counter tickets.
Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
Answer phones, direct customers to the proper department, and follow up in a timely manner.
Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
Operate the switchboard telephone system.
Communicate with callers professionally, courteously, and efficiently, striving to minimize time customers spend on hold.
Assist managers with clerical duties as needed.
Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with customers and employees.
Learn department structures and internal procedures to assist customers efficiently.
