About The Position

Hinsdale Middle School is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Cashier to join its food service team. This part-time role follows the school calendar and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Weekends, evenings, holidays, and school breaks are off. The Cashier operates the Point of Sale (POS) system during meal service, assists with food preparation and stocking, puts away deliveries, supports inventory, helps team members as needed, washes dishes, maintains kitchen cleanliness, and performs light cleaning such as sweeping and mopping. Candidates should have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced school environment. Previous food service or cashier experience is helpful but not required.
