About The Position

Hinsdale Middle School is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Cashier to join its food service team. The role supports meal service by operating the point-of-sale system and helping with food preparation, stocking, inventory, and general kitchen duties. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and follows the school calendar. Weekends, evenings, holidays, and school breaks are off.

Previous food service or cashier experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system during meal service.
Assist with food preparation and stocking.
Put away deliveries and inventory.
Support team members as needed.
Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping.
