About The Position

The Cashier/Food Service Worker operates the point-of-sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and maintains clean coffee and cashier stations. The role supports food preparation, catering orders, cashiering, line service, stocking, and general cleaning across retail food-service areas. The position is with Levy at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning and remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Process cash transactions according to established procedures, maintain accurate receipts, and make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up the serving line, take and record temperatures, ensure they are within acceptable ranges, and notify cooks when temperatures are outside acceptable limits.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerators stocked and rotate products using the first-in, first-out rule.
• Stock pantries with correct daily par levels and record replenished amounts on floor stock forms.
• Record refrigerator temperatures daily on floor stock forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
