About The Position

GardaWorld is seeking a part-time Cash Processing Teller to process cash deposits and settlements. The schedule is 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and may change depending on business needs. Starting pay is $16.90 per hour.

The role involves verifying assigned work, inspecting deposit bags for tampering, processing deposits, resolving out-of-balance conditions, and transferring funds to the appropriate vaults. The teller must follow company policies and state and federal regulations, identify counterfeit currency and suspicious or potentially money-laundering-related activity, and promptly report concerns to a supervisor. The role also requires meeting productivity standards, identifying process improvements, and working independently without direct supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong data-entry skills and experience.
• Attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Cash-handling and balancing experience is highly desired.
• One to two years of teller experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify assigned work and inspect deposit bags for evidence of tampering.
• Process deposits, including reconciling out-of-balance conditions.
• Comply with company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Identify counterfeit currency, suspicious activity (SAR), and potential AML red-flag transactions, and immediately report them to a supervisor.
• Meet or exceed established deposit-processing productivity standards.
• Verify cash settlements and transfer funds to the appropriate vaults.
• Identify and share process-improvement opportunities.
• Work independently without direct supervision or oversight.
