About The Position

The Cash Management Services Pack Out Teller works with a team to safely and securely prepare and process cash and coin orders and assist with inventory management for Loomis customers. The role is full-time, with a stated shift of 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. The job description also says a full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week performed in 8-hour or split shifts. Work is performed in a room or work area within a vault, with little or no exposure to outside light. The position requires standing for the entire shift and constantly lifting or pushing bags with the weights described in the posting. Qualification includes successful completion of a Human Performance Evaluation covering specified lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, and hand-grip tests.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers.

Successful completion of a Human Performance Evaluation: lift 2 pounds vertically from 36 to 52 inches 15 times; 25 pounds from 8 to 33 inches once; 18 pounds from 1 to 36 inches 5 times; and 2 pounds from 7 to 54 inches 17 times. Lift and carry 30 pounds from 8 to 40 inches and transfer it horizontally 10 feet once. Push or pull 90 pounds of force on a sled horizontally for 1 foot using a single, non-dominant arm once. Squeeze a Jamar Hand Dynamometer with forces up to 30 pounds, 17 times with each hand.

Responsibilities

Prepare customer currency and coin change orders by denomination; orders can weigh approximately 1 to 50 pounds.
Prepare Federal Reserve Bank shipments and receive Federal Reserve Bank deposits as requested by customers and assigned by management; bags can weigh approximately 1 to 45 pounds.
Add to, merge, subtract from, or pull funds from physical customer inventories.
Count customer inventories accurately and efficiently, and report totals to management or an Inventory Balancing teammate.
Maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) practices in customer inventories.
Maintain physical counts and logs, follow FIFO, and adhere to policies and procedures for Emergency Cash inventories.
Prepare Emergency Cash requests for the Cash In Transit team and accurately and efficiently count Emergency Cash inventories.
Follow the specified process for preparing contaminated deposits for shipment to the Federal Reserve Bank, as directed by management.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
