About The Position

As a Cash Management Services Teller, you work with a team to ensure the safe and secure preparation and processing of cash, coin, and check deposits for Loomis customers. The work includes verifying deposits and preparing change orders using specialized counting equipment and established procedures. The position is full-time, with a schedule of 40 hours per week performed in 8-hour or split shifts. Work takes place in a room or work area within a vault, with little or no exposure to outside light, and is performed seated on a stool with back support or standing at a counter 3.5 to 4 feet high. Qualification for the Cash Management Services Teller/Cashier position requires successful completion of a Human Performance Evaluation. Testing includes specified lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, and repetitive hand-grip tasks.

Requirements

Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write, and record numbers.
Ability to perform simple computer data entry.
Ability to use a calculator by touch.
Successfully complete a Human Performance Evaluation, including lifting, lift-carry, push-pull, and repetitive hand-grip testing. The stated tests include lifts of 2 lb, 25 lb, and 18 lb at specified heights and repetitions; carrying 30 lb for 10 feet; transferring 90 lb of force on a sled with one non-dominant arm; and squeezing a Jamar Hand Dynamometer with both hands at forces up to 30 lb.

Responsibilities

Conduct deposit verification and/or prepare change orders using specialized counting equipment and procedures.
Separate currency, coin, and/or check deposits received from bank, ATM, and/or commercial customers, and accurately count them by denomination.
Prepare currency and/or coin change orders by denomination for assigned customers.
