About The Position

The Caser Capper Labeler Operator operates a caser, case packer, lid applicator, or labeler safely and efficiently. The operator maintains correct case and container codes, applies labels properly, makes needed machine adjustments, completes paperwork and pallet tags, and keeps equipment clean and in operating condition. The role supports line personnel, collects required samples, helps ensure line detectors are working properly, and maintains good housekeeping in downstream areas. The position is on the third shift, from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with Saturday and Sunday listed as days off, although split days off may be possible.

Requirements

Be capable of properly setting up codes.
Be able to alert maintenance, the foreman, or a supervisor to potential problems.
Possess mechanical aptitude and be able to make minor machine adjustments.

Frequently lift up to 55 pounds and carry materials averaging 41 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate a caser, case packer, lid applicator, or labeler safely and efficiently.
Maintain proper case and container codes and apply labels correctly.
Make operator adjustments as needed.
Complete paperwork and pallet tags properly.
Keep equipment clean and in proper operating condition.
Advise the foreman or shift supervisor of potential problems.
Assist other line personnel as required to minimize losses.
Pull all required samples.
Train other employees if required.
Maintain good housekeeping in downstream areas.
Ensure line detectors are working properly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
