About The Position

The Labeler sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots manufacturing production equipment in a production environment. The role involves handling raw materials and finished goods, checking product quality, and working with parts through production lines. The position is based at PPG’s Rock Hill Plant and is listed for first shift, Monday through Thursday, at $18.51 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials while following safety guidelines.
• Manual dexterity to handle labeling equipment and materials.
• Ability to bend, reach, and walk upstairs as required.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education or training in manufacturing or quality control.
• Previous experience in a labeling or production environment.
• Basic understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify products that are faulty, need to be discarded, or need to be remanufactured.
• Load and unload racks of parts.
• Mask and unmask parts; perform touch-ups and rework; process rejects; and inspect parts coming down production lines.
