About The Position

The Labeler at PPG’s Rock Hill Plant sets up, operates, maintains, and troubleshoots manufacturing production equipment. The role also involves handling and inspecting parts and goods as they move through production. The position is scheduled for 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, and pays $18.51.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move materials while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Manual dexterity to handle labeling equipment and materials.
• Ability to bend and reach as necessary during labeling operations.
• Ability to walk upstairs as required in the work environment.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education or training in manufacturing or quality control.
• Previous experience in a labeling or production environment.
• Basic understanding of labeling regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify products that need to be discarded or re-manufactured.
• Load and unload racks of parts.
• Mask and unmask parts.
• Touch up or rework parts and process rejects.
• Inspect parts coming down production lines.
