About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Case Picker in Frankfort, Indiana, to support warehouse distribution. The role involves picking food products and preparing them for shipment in a clean, organized facility with a focus on safety. The position pays weekly at $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour, and includes paid training and benefits. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The equipment used is an automated pallet jack (Walkie Rider).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Adequate math skills.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask; highly organized, with excellent time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
• Some positions may require additional screening, which may include employment and education verification, a motor vehicle records check and road test, and/or customer badging or background requirements.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Pick products and cases.
• Palletize, hand stack, and stretch-wrap products as required.
• Safely operate material handling equipment.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
