About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Case Picker in Frankfort, Indiana, to support warehouse distribution of food products. The role involves picking and palletizing products, operating material-handling equipment, and assisting with inventory control. The position pays $21.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00 per hour, and pays weekly. The schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Warehouse associates work in clean, organized facilities focused on safety. Paid training and support are provided. Safety gear is provided, and leadership prioritizes safety and continuous improvement. Some assignments may require additional employment or education verification, motor vehicle records checks and a road test, or customer-specific badging or background requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Adequate math skills.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes and product codes.
• Meet and exceed established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors.
• Ability to multitask; highly organized, with excellent time-management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Pick products and cases.
• Palletize, hand stack, and stretch-wrap products as required.
• Safely operate material-handling equipment.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory control as required.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
