About The Position

Rite of Passage is hiring a Case Manager at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Walton Academy provides residential treatment to youth through mental health and substance abuse services, as well as opportunities in areas such as carpentry, home building, sports, and culinary arts.

The Case Manager is a member of the site team implementing the Rite of Passage program. The role administers, develops, and facilitates case plans and treatment programs in accordance with placing-agency requests and the needs of each student on the caseload. The position reports to the Director of Student Services.

Employees may earn a $1,000 training incentive by successfully completing the Essential Skills Training Program within their first 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Prior case management experience, including three years of experience with juveniles.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and TB test.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to work in excess of 40 hours per week as needed.
• Flexibility and ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities
