Case Manager (Bilingual English/Portuguese)

About The Position

Kanner & Pintaluga is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Case Manager who is bilingual in English and Portuguese. The Case Manager works directly with clients, third parties, providers, and insurance companies, handling fact-finding projects and gathering and organizing documents and information. The role requires comfort in an office environment, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
Strong customer service skills.
Bilingual in English and Portuguese.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and coworkers.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry duties.
Gather information and documents from clients and other sources.
Handle incoming calls and other communications with clients and third parties.
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients.
Maintain and organize electronic case files.
Collect, review, and verify medical bills, liens, declaration pages, payment logs, and other materials from third parties.
Work in a team-centered environment and communicate with teammates about all aspects of each case.
Manage a high volume of clients while maintaining organization and efficiency.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
