About The Position

The Case Dock Laborer supplies empty cases to the plant to maintain or improve efficiency standards. The regular schedule is 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Be organized and detail oriented.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be able to work weekends and varying shifts, including days, evenings, and nights.
Maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company.
Be able to stand and walk constantly during the shift.
Be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to constantly pull up to 270 lbs. with a pull rod while walking backward.
Be able to frequently lift, reach, climb, pull, stoop, bend, and kneel.
Be able to work outside and be exposed to outside weather and temperature conditions.
Maintain constant mental focus and awareness of surroundings.

Responsibilities

Empty cases from trailers, stack the empty pallets, and wash out the trailers.
Keep the work area neat and clean throughout the shift.
Clean the case washers daily to ensure cases supplied to the plant are properly cleaned.
Check and document the case washer temperature.
Check and document cleaning solution concentration at least once per shift according to the Master Sanitation schedule.
Complete all assigned paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
