About The Position

The West London Women’s Service is a specialist gender and trauma informed Assessment Hub for women with complex needs who are at risk of homelessness, experienced domestic abuse, violence against women and girls (VAWG); and/or have multiple disadvantages. We have a great opportunity for someone interested in working as part of an innovate women’s only service in a Case Coordinator role and becoming part of this exciting team achieving positive outcomes to support the women in their recovery and move on journey. As the Case Coordinator you will have the opportunity to lead on the development and day-to-day delivery of the service, taking responsibility for line management, support and supervision of Assessment and Reconnection Workers and overseeing case management so they can provide intensive high quality support to their individual caseload of clients. We work with a Recovery Based Approach, tailoring support to each individual’s needs and goals.

Requirements

  • Experience managing complex and difficult situations in relation to people.
  • Some day-to-day management/supervision of staff or volunteers or willingness to develop these skills.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to network and build effective relationships with a variety of people.
  • Understanding of the issues involved in providing support to people with complex support needs including mental and physical health needs, substance dependency and who may be on low (or no) income.
  • A DBS disclosure check is a requirement for this post.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on the development and day-to-day delivery of the service.
  • Take responsibility for line management, support and supervision of Assessment and Reconnection Workers.
  • Oversee case management to ensure intensive high-quality support is provided to individual caseloads of clients.
  • Support the team with complex cases.
  • Ensure clients have access to the support they need in their recovery journeys and into independent accommodation.
