About The Position

The Carwash/Gas Attendant supports Members and Customers by explaining Membership programs, benefits, renewal options, and credit card programs. The role provides customer service, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, resolves concerns, and promotes Sam’s Club products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

The attendant cleans and organizes the car wash and gas station areas, maintains accurate pricing and signage, handles claims and returns, organizes merchandise and supplies, identifies shrink and damage, and follows Company policies and procedures. Duties also include receiving and stocking merchandise and supplies, maintaining required paperwork and logs, operating cash registers and related tools, and operating and maintaining gas station and car wash equipment.

The hourly wage range is $16.00 to $24.00, with possible premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in certain circumstances. The primary location is 1975 E Montgomery Xrd, Savannah, GA 31406-5036.

Responsibilities

• Explain Membership types, programs, benefits, renewal options, and credit card programs to current and prospective Members.
• Provide Customer and Member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain a safe shopping environment.
• Clean and organize the car wash and gas station areas and ensure accurate pricing and signage.
• Maintain the Gas Station/Car Wash area in accordance with Company policies and procedures, including handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise and supplies, and identifying shrink and damage.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility using Company procedures.
• Use equipment appropriately and complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
• Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for payment types and items sold.
• Operate and maintain Gas Station/Car Wash equipment and provide products and services in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
