About The Position

The Carwash/Gas Attendant serves Sam's Club Members and maintains the gas station and car wash areas. The role explains Membership types, programs, benefits, renewal options, and credit card programs to current and prospective Members. It assists Members with purchasing decisions, merchandise locations, issues, and concerns while promoting products and services and maintaining a safe shopping environment. The attendant cleans and organizes the area, maintains accurate pricing and signage, handles claims and returns, arranges merchandise and supplies, identifies shrink and damage, and helps ensure a safe work environment. The role receives and stocks merchandise and supplies, follows facility procedures, uses equipment appropriately, and completes required paperwork and logs. It also operates cash registers and related tools to process purchases and operates and maintains gas station and car wash equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Explain Membership types, programs, benefits, renewal options, and credit card programs and application processes to current and prospective Members.
Assist Members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promote products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Clean and organize the car wash and gas station area and ensure pricing and signage are accurate.
Maintain the gas station and car wash area in accordance with company policies and procedures, including handling claims and returns, organizing merchandise and supplies, identifying shrink and damage, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; organize and maintain the facility according to company procedures.
Use equipment appropriately and complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for payment types and items sold.
Operate and maintain gas station and car wash equipment and provide products and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively, build trusting relationships, communicate positively, and help develop and mentor others.
Maintain standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance, and support the company's goal of becoming a regenerative company.
