(USA) Carwash/Gas Attendant
About The Position
The Carwash/Gas Attendant serves Sam’s Club Members and customers by explaining Membership types, programs, benefits, renewals, and credit card options, and by supporting purchasing decisions and resolving service issues. The role helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized car wash and gas station area, including accurate pricing and signage, merchandise and supply organization, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The attendant receives and stocks merchandise and supplies, completes required paperwork and logs, operates cash registers and related equipment to process purchases, and operates and maintains gas station and car wash equipment. The role is expected to demonstrate Sam’s Club and Walmart values by working collaboratively, communicating positively, supporting and developing others, acting with integrity, serving customers and Members, and pursuing continuous improvement.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Responsibilities
- Explain Membership types, programs, benefits, renewal options, and credit card programs and application processes to current and prospective Members.
- Provide customer and Member service by acknowledging them, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain a safe shopping environment and clean, organize, and zone the car wash and gas station area.
- Ensure accurate pricing and signage and handle claims and returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Arrange and organize merchandise and supplies, identify shrink and damage, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; use equipment appropriately and complete and retain required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
- Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using appropriate procedures for different payment types and items sold.
- Operate and maintain gas station and car wash equipment and provide related products and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work as a team, build trusting relationships, communicate positively, and help develop and mentor others.
