About The Position

The Carwash/Gas Attendant supports customers and members at the car wash and gas station by explaining membership programs and benefits, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving concerns, and promoting products and services. The role maintains a clean, organized, accurately priced, and safe work area; handles merchandise, supplies, claims, returns, and documentation; and operates cash registers and gas station or car wash equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

The position also demonstrates the company’s values by fostering belonging, working collaboratively, communicating positively, helping develop others, acting with integrity, prioritizing customers and members, and pursuing continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Explain membership types, programs, benefits, renewal options, credit card programs, and application processes to current and prospective members.
• Provide customer and member service by acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintain a safe shopping and work environment.
• Clean and organize the car wash and gas station area and ensure pricing signage is accurate.
• Maintain the area in accordance with company policies, including handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise and supplies, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Organize and maintain the facility by following company procedures, using equipment appropriately, merchandising, and completing and retaining required paperwork, logs, and documentation.
• Operate cash registers and related tools to process customer purchases using the appropriate procedures for payment types and items sold.
• Operate and maintain gas station and car wash equipment and provide products and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Promote a culture of belonging, build trusting working relationships, communicate positively, and help develop and recognize teammates.
