About The Position

Tumbleweed Restaurants is hiring a driven Carry Out Crew Member to handle customer service and administrative duties that support the overall operation of the restaurant. The role involves processing and packaging carryout orders, supporting curbside and online orders, handling payments, and assisting guests in the dining room. The position requires a friendly, helpful, and attentive approach, comfort using a POS system, and the ability to work on multiple tasks in a distracting environment. Physical duties include standing for up to 10 hours a day and occasionally lifting or moving up to 60 pounds. Responsibilities

Answer the phone in a timely manner.
Correctly enter all orders into the POS system.
Check identification for anyone who appears under age 40 and is purchasing alcohol.
Handle payment transactions in a way that protects the interests of both guests and the restaurant.
Safely and accurately monitor the cash register.
Bag carryout orders and ensure each order is complete and correct.
Deliver orders quickly and accurately to curbside guests’ vehicles.
Accurately quote pickup times for carryout guests.
Handle third-party and online orders.
Perform required side work.
Maintain Tumbleweed uniform standards.
Observe guests’ needs during their dining experience to help ensure high-quality service.
Follow sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies to protect the establishment and its patrons.
Assist in the dining room by setting and clearing tables and serving beverages.
Perform other duties as assigned.
