About The Position

The Carpenter in the O43 Maintenance Department performs general building maintenance. Work includes general carpentry, flooring repairs and installation, door and door-hardware replacement, construction of stairs and platforms, sheetrock installation and finishing, window replacement and repair, and other carpentry tasks as assigned. The position is full-time, has multiple shifts, and is not eligible for telework. The employee must be able to work the assigned shift according to production needs.

Requirements

• Must be able to work at extreme heights or in small confined spaces.
• Must be able to kneel, squat, crawl, bend, stoop, and climb.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must be able to read and take measurements.
• Must have experience using general hand tools and various power tools.
• Must be able to work the assigned shift as production needs.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Prior carpentry experience is a plus.
