About The Position

Associa is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Carpenter to help maintain managed residential properties and support safe, functional living environments for residents. The role includes residential carpentry, construction, repairs, and finishing work, using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. The position requires physical construction-site work, including heavy lifting, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and drywall finishing.
Familiarity with woodworking techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
Construction-site experience, including heavy lifting, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks.
Strong understanding of construction specifications and safety practices related to power tools and heavy equipment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments, with attention to detail.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good-standing/clean driving record, and be eligible for coverage under the company’s insurance.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of carpentry basics, door hanging, window installation, and deck construction is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Use hand and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and maintenance.
Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks required for construction-site work.
Complete finishing and repair tasks, including caulking, window installation, deck replacement, rot repairs, trim replacement, vinyl siding replacement, door installation, step replacement, and framing.
Operate woodworking machines safely.
Follow power-tool safety guidelines while performing woodworking and framing tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote on-site safety and efficiency.
