About The Position

Associa is seeking a reliable maintenance professional to help maintain managed residential properties and support a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents. The Maintenance Carpenter performs residential carpentry, repairs, construction, and finishing work, using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines. The role involves physical construction-site tasks, including heavy lifting, and requires attention to safety, organization, and detail. The employee may work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, framing, and drywall finishing.
Familiarity with woodworking techniques using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
Construction-site experience, including heavy lifting, remodeling projects, and handyman tasks.
Strong understanding of construction specifications and safety practices related to power tools and heavy equipment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while paying attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; must be eligible for coverage under the company’s insurance.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of carpentry basics, door hanging, window installations, and deck construction is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and maintenance.
Perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks required for construction-site work.
Complete finishing and repair tasks, including caulking, window installations, deck replacements, rot repairs, trim replacement, vinyl siding replacement, door installation, step replacements, and framing.
Operate woodworking machines safely.
Follow power-tool safety guidelines when handling tools for woodworking and framing.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
