About The Position

Swissport is a global aviation services leader providing ground handling, cargo handling, and passenger services. The Cargo Warehouse Agent organizes warehouse and storage facilities, arranges warehouse handling equipment, and loads and unloads air cargo while maintaining safety and quality standards and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies. The expected pay rate is $21.25 per hour. The position is located at JFK Building 9.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible working hours.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Customer focus and quality awareness.
• Ability to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload air cargo from and to trucks.
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
• Ensure cargo-related paperwork is correct.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
• Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations.
• Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
