About The Position

Builds up and breaks down cargo pallets and freight containers following guidelines; Identifies cargo that does not meet customer or company standards and or guidelines; Obtains proper security documents for all shipments; Organizes freight within the warehouse according to the base storage plan; Properly and safely loads and unloads freight.

Requirements

Maintain and treat all information as confidential
Possess the tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
Must be able to verbally direct in English
A valid driver’s license is required for this position
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances required by Local and Federal Regulatory Authorities
Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location
Must be able to squat, stoop, kneel, bend, stretch, crawl in awkward positions
Must be able to lift, push pull up to 75 pounds at times
May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures

Previous forklift experience preferred
