About The Position

The Carey AI Business Process Analyst serves as an internal consultant and liaison between Carey Business School departments and its AI function. The role leads process discovery, requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation; identifies opportunities for process improvement or AI-supported solutions; and works with technical teams to design, test, pilot, measure, and support adoption of solutions. Departments in scope include Admissions, Marketing, Executive Education, Student Experience, Career Services, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Events, and academic program offices. The position works with a cross-functional group and has no direct reports at the outset. The Analyst ensures technical solutions meet stakeholder expectations and quality standards by defining scope and requirements, collaborating on solution design, and planning and executing testing activities. This includes developing test strategies, plans, cases, scripts, scenarios, and data sets; coordinating integrated and user testing; conducting unit, functional, and technical testing; documenting and tracking defects; and reporting testing status and operational metrics. The Analyst also evaluates vendor solutions, recommends tools and technical approaches, and supports developers, project teams, and business partners through project delivery and ongoing maintenance. The role leads interviews, workshops, observation, and process mapping to document workflows, handoffs, volumes, cycle times, pain points, and workarounds. It prioritizes opportunities using business value, feasibility, data readiness, risk, and change readiness; develops business cases and functional specifications; and translates approved initiatives into workflow designs and governance materials. The Analyst coordinates pilots and performance measurement, leads adoption activities such as training and communications, builds organizational AI fluency, and maintains a knowledge repository of solutions and lessons learned. The position requires a combination of functional analysis, writing, data visualization, testing, and user-facing skills. It operates under limited guidance and builds client relationships through positive interactions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, in a hybrid role based at Harbor East. The position reports to the Director, Carey AI Services.
