About The Position

At Kamaʻāina Kids, we are seeking experienced Preschool Teachers and Infant & Toddler Caregivers who are ready to bring their skills, creativity, and care to our team. This role involves making everyday moments meaningful for young children through various activities such as sensory play, reading, art projects, outdoor exploration, and supporting children through emotional challenges. The position is located in the Miliani Area and offers a starting pay of $19-25/hr, with a $500 New Hire Bonus. We offer both Full-Time and Sub Opportunities.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
High school diploma or GED
Preschool Teachers: CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Preschool Teachers: 6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare program
Infant & Toddler Caregivers: 12–24 months of experience working with children under age three in a licensed childcare setting
Infant & Toddler Caregivers: Infant/Toddler training, or willingness to complete required training with our support
Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and reside in Hawaiʻi or have plans to relocate.

Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development
Encourage curiosity, independence, confidence, and communication
Incorporate art, music, movement, stories, sensory experiences, and outdoor play
Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families
Partner with fellow educators to create a positive classroom community
Recognize each child as an individual and celebrate their growth along the way
