About The Position

Citrus Hills is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The Caregiver encourages resident independence and choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions. Requirements

• Exhibit a positive customer service attitude by being approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Display personal initiative and complete work without constant supervision.
• Maintain consistent attendance as scheduled and address work-related problems with the proper individuals.
• Demonstrate communication skills, including careful listening, sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, thoughtful responses, and timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.
• Encourage resident independence and choice and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.
• Participate in designated facility in-services.
• Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Report information to appropriate people accurately and in a timely manner.
