About The Position

Citrus Hills is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The Caregiver encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

The role calls for a positive customer-service attitude, initiative, dependable attendance, thoughtful communication, and confidentiality. The Caregiver maintains a neat, clean appearance, participates in designated facility in-services, and helps new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities. This is a part-time PM-shift position paying $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Meet age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
• Demonstrate a positive customer-service attitude; be approachable, friendly, and willing to assist others.
• Display initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance as scheduled.
• Have communication skills that include careful listening, sensitivity to others’ thoughts and feelings, thoughtful responses, and timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Present a neat, clean appearance.

Nice To Haves

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
