About The Position

Heritage Assisted Living is seeking a Caregiver to support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. The Caregiver encourages resident independence, supports resident choice, and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

The role calls for a positive customer-service attitude, personal initiative, reliable attendance, thoughtful and timely communication, and maintaining the confidentiality of resident and staff information. The Caregiver is expected to maintain a neat, clean appearance, participate in designated facility in-services, and help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.

• Current CPR certification preferred.

• Complete work with personal initiative and without constant supervision.
• Communicate through careful listening, sensitivity to others' thoughts and feelings, thoughtful responses, and timely, accurate reporting to appropriate people.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
• Maintain a neat, clean appearance.
• Participate in designated facility in-services.
• Help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance as scheduled and address work-related problems with the proper individuals.
