About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate and dependable CAREgivers to provide non-medical care to seniors in their homes, helping them maintain safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life. The role includes assistance with personal care and daily activities, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, appointment assistance, medication reminders, and dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Assignments are matched locally near the caregiver’s home whenever possible.

The employer provides paid orientation, comprehensive hands-on training, ongoing education, and additional dementia and palliative care training. Experienced CAREgivers may participate in a six-week mentoring program to support new team members. Flexible scheduling options include 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, with day, evening, overnight, and weekend schedules, as well as regular, ER, and Angel Visit assignments.

Base pay is listed as $13–$18 per hour based on experience, with additional shift differentials. The posting also advertises a $1,000 sign-on bonus, performance bonuses, and referral bonuses. The listed job type is part-time. Work is on the road, serving communities in Kanawha, Putnam, and Cabell counties in West Virginia, Scioto County in Ohio, and surrounding areas.
