About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable CAREgivers to provide non-medical care to seniors in their homes and help them maintain their dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. The role includes building supportive relationships with clients and providing assistance with daily activities, companionship, household tasks, errands, medication reminders, and dementia and Alzheimer's care. Paid orientation and comprehensive training are provided through the Caregiver Development Program, with ongoing education and additional dementia and palliative care training. Experienced CAREgivers may participate in a six-week mentoring program. The employer offers flexible scheduling, local assignments matched near the caregiver's home whenever possible, and opportunities for career growth. The position is part-time and performed on the road. Shifts are available in 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour lengths, including day, evening, overnight, and weekend options. Base pay is listed as $13–$18 per hour based on experience, with another listing of $13–$16 per hour; shift differentials and bonuses may provide additional earnings. Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
