About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist seniors in the Boyce, Virginia area. Caregivers help clients with activities of daily living and other household and companionship needs while building long-lasting relationships with clients and their families. The available schedule is part-time, recurring weekly from Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additional work hours may be added. The company also offers flexible scheduling, including part-time or full-time shifts.
Requirements
- Provide two professional references.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Hold CNA certification and/or license, Personal Care Aide certification, or Home Health Aide certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transferring.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with errands and shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide friendly companionship and joyful conversation.
