Caregiver (PCA, HHA, CNA) - Visiting Angels
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist seniors in the Boyce, Virginia area. The caregiver supports clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and medication reminders. Additional support includes errands and shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and friendly companionship and conversation. The available schedule is part-time and recurs weekly, Monday through Friday, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Additional work hours may be added. The organization describes its care relationships as long-lasting and emphasizes support for both families and caregivers.
Requirements
- Provide two professional references.
- Pass a background check.
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Pass a drug screening.
- Hold CNA certification and/or license, Personal Care Aide certification, or Home Health Aide certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transferring.
