Caregiver (PCA, HHA, CNA) - Visiting Angels
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist seniors in the Cross Junction, Virginia area. Caregivers support clients with activities of daily living and household needs, while building long-lasting relationships with clients and their families. The available schedule is part-time, recurring weekly, Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Additional work hours may be added. The organization also notes that flexible part-time or full-time shifts may be available. Caregivers receive competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, a 401(k) with matching, end-of-year bonuses, supportive administration, and hands-on, in-the-field and classroom training.
Requirements
- Provide two professional references.
- Be able to pass a background check.
- Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Be able to pass a drug screening.
- Have CNA certification and/or license, Personal Care Aide certification, or Home Health Aide certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, and transferring.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with errands and shopping.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide friendly companionship and conversation.
