About The Position

River Oaks Homecare, a leader in the industry for 10 years, is expanding and looking for dedicated Caregivers to join their brand-new residential home in Coatesville, PA. This is a part-time position with 4-hour daily shifts available Monday-Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The role focuses on providing personalized support in a beautiful residential setting, assisting residents with daily living activities, creating sensory-friendly environments, offering behavioral and emotional support, preparing meals, maintaining the home, fostering community, and advocating for resident health. Requirements

Must be 18+ years old.
Eligible to work in the US.
Basic cooking and housekeeping knowledge.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving, CNA, or HHA residential experience.
CPR/First Aid certification (company can assist in obtaining).

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
Implement routines that support individuals with unique sensory processing needs.
Use patient, positive redirection, and communication techniques to support residents through various behavioral challenges and emotional regulation.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks tailored to specific dietary requirements or textures, assisting with feeding as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment.
Foster a supportive atmosphere through engaging activities, errands, and social interaction.
Drive residents in a company-provided vehicle to community events and doctor's appointments.
Provide vital medication reminders and closely monitor health or behavioral changes.
