About The Position
Avenue Five Institute, an award-winning Barber, Beauty, and Wellness school with two campuses in Austin, TX, is seeking exceptional Barbering Instructors to support its growing student population. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service, verbal communication, and organizational skills, along with proficiency in computer technology and a passion for education. The role involves teaching students classic and modern cutting techniques, men's grooming, and shaving fundamentals, utilizing the Milady Barbering curriculum. Instructors will supervise students on the student barber floor, providing hands-on training with real clients.
Requirements
- Current Barber License in the State of Texas
- 2 years continuous experience in a barbershop, salon, or similar environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience in use of computer technology

- 5+ years of continuous experience in a barbershop, salon, or similar environment
Responsibilities
- Educate and enrich the lives of students in barbering.
