Full Time Caregiver (NOC)
About The Position
Silverado Southlake is hiring a full-time Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to create meaningful moments and help residents live with dignity and joy. The Caregiver assists residents with daily living activities, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, and supports residents in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position is scheduled for the NOC shift, four days on and two days off. The anticipated pay range is $17–$18 USD.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
