Full Time Caregiver (NOC)
About The Position
Silverado Newport Mesa is hiring a full-time Caregiver for its NOC shift. Caregivers provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for empathy, reliability, patience, integrity, and a team-focused approach to help residents live with dignity and joy. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday. The anticipated pay range is $21–$24 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to perform an active role involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent.
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
