Full Time Caregiver (NOC)

About The Position

Silverado Southlake is hiring a Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role calls for empathy, reliability, patience, integrity, and a team-focused approach, with an emphasis on helping residents live with dignity and joy. The Caregiver assists residents with daily living activities, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The position is full-time on the NOC shift, with a schedule of four days on and two days off. The anticipated pay range is $17–$18 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
Comfort working around animals and pets.
Ability to perform active work involving walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions; preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
