Full Time Caregiver (NOC)
About The Position
Silverado Franklin is hiring a Caregiver to provide hands-on support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines empathy, reliability, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. The Caregiver assists with daily living activities, builds relationships with residents, families, and team members, maintains accurate care records, and reports changes to the nursing team. The position is full-time on the NOC shift, Thursday through Saturday. The anticipated pay range is $18–$20 USD.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Able to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other debilitating conditions; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and dining.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
- Support residents with memory impairments in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.
- Maintain accurate care records and report changes to the nursing team.
