Caregiver - CNA - PCA - HHA - Immediate Hiring
About The Position
FirstLight Home Care of Sandy Springs is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. The role includes caring for people living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, limited mobility, and physical disabilities. Positions are available on PRN, part-time, and full-time schedules, with flexible hours ranging from 4 to 40+ hours per week and shifts of 4, 8, or 12 hours. Schedules may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. The posting offers pay up to $18 per hour for experienced caregivers, with time-and-a-half for weekends, holiday eves, and holidays.
Requirements
- CNA, PCA, or HHA certification, or an active LPN/RN license.
- Experience caring for seniors or adults with disabilities.
- Dependable, compassionate, professional, and reliable.
- Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Consistent availability for overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one care for seniors and adults with disabilities.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care.
- Provide companionship, dementia support, and medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
- Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and daily activities.
- Promote independence, dignity, and safety in the home.
