About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care – Boston Northwest is seeking caring, reliable caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors and others who need support remaining comfortable and independent in their homes. The role involves supporting clients’ independence, dignity, and well-being while following each person’s individualized personal care service plan. Candidates should be available for schedules that may include weekdays, weekends, and overnights. This is a full-time, in-person, W-2 role.
Requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to use a smartphone-based app.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction.
- Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications.
- Follow each client’s individualized personal care service plan.
- Communicate professionally with clients, family members, and team members.
- Support clients’ independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
